Mahjong event planning

MahjPlay

A platform for hosts planning social mahjong events, from secure registration fees to table assignments, check-in, and the hospitality details that make a room feel easy.

Beyond ticketing

Built for the real work of hosting a mahjong room.

MahjPlay is not trying to be generic event software or a tournament scoring tool. It is designed for social table fit, player compatibility, boutique event pages, and day-of operations.

Secure registration fees

Sell event seats through Stripe Checkout, then fulfill paid orders into tickets ready for player profiles and event operations.

Keep registration organized

Track paid tickets, profile completion, event communications, and operational support in one place.

Assign compatible tables

Use player profiles, table vibe, speed, experience, and warning flags to place people where they can have a good time.

Run event-day check-in

Search the roster, confirm payment and profile status, see table assignments, and export the lists hosts need at the venue.

Host workflow

One event, four operating moments.

The platform keeps payment ownership, tickets, players, and groups distinct, so organizers can support real-life buying patterns without losing operational clarity.

1

Before registration opens

Build a branded event page with clear seat options, capacity, policies, venue notes, and host-friendly copy.

2

While seats are selling

Monitor sales, paid orders, remaining capacity, profile completion, groups, solo players, and waitlist signals. Customers may use MahjPlay to purchase event admission, event merchandise, host kits, and related event services. Event admission may include venue access, hospitality, food and beverage, organized social play, communications, and event operations.

3

As the room takes shape

Draft table assignments with compatibility warnings and route incomplete attendee information to host review.

4

On event day

Bring check-in, table assignments, attention flags, exports, and venue materials into one clear operating plan.

Current pilot event

Our first pilot event is a fall 2026 social Mahjong gathering at the Minneapolis Club. This pilot helps us validate our registration, player profile, seating, and event operations workflow.

MahjPlay does not process wagers, bets, stake pools, betting markets, odds-making, lottery entries, or gambling transactions. MahjPlay is not a casino, sportsbook, fantasy sports operator, lottery operator, or gambling business.

Some recreational events may include incidental recognition, organizer-provided awards, or promotional gifts, but customers are purchasing event admission, merchandise, software, or event services—not the opportunity to gamble or place a wager.
